A Taste Of Neptune, 1977 (Si-Wan Progressive Rock 4000 Series) 콜렉터들 사이에서도 구하기 어려운 앨범인데 국내에서는 시완에서 출시때 마스터 테잎의 분실로 인해  LP음원에서 노이즈를 잡아서 라이센스 했다고 한다 한마디로 귀한 곡이라는, 명곡이라는 말 들을 때마다 A Taste Of Neptune은 가사하고 목소리, 멜로디가 너무도 절묘하게 맞아떨진다는 생각이 든다는 바다위에서 맞이하게된 절망과 넘어설 수 없는 비극의 노래 프로그레시브락의 서정과 아트락적인 요소를 모두 갖춘 대개의 경우 어떤 아티스트에게 이런이런 대표곡이 있는데,어떤 곡엔 어떤 장점과 강점이... 이런 식의 소개를 하겠으나 로즈의 경우 달랑 이 곡 한 곡에 강력한 필을 가지고 있다 로즈하면, 넵춘... 넵춘하면, 로즈 락의 전성기 70년대에 두장의 앨범만을 발표하고 해체 결성지 영국에서가 아닌 캐나다 레코드사에서 음반을 발매한 것은 이들의 음악적인 요소들이미국적인 요소가 강했기 때문이라고 Led Zeppelin의 Stairway To Heaven과, don Mclean의 American Pie와 함께 세계 3대 명곡으로 꼽히는 곡 부족함이 없이 충분하게 푸욱 적시어 준다   A taste of Neptune   On the day we sailed for England It was cold and windy gray All the gulls had taken shelter When the lines were castaway All our faces seemed much older Than the men we'd come to know So we swore beneath our skins As we watched the tempest grow We all cursed the Captain's Judgement As we bent to do our chores All the Older hands swapped stories Of the storms they'd seen before All the cabin-boys went hiding.
