'Pourquoi Me Reveiller' Opera 'Werther' 마스네 / 오페라 "Werther(베르테르)"中 '무엇때문에 나를 깨우는가' Jules Emile Frdric Massenet (1842∼1912) 'Pourquoi me Reveiller' 마스네는 프랑스의 낭만주의 오페라 작곡가로서 코믹, 또는 리릭 오페라를 많이 남기고 있다. 괴테의 '젊은 베르테르의 슬픔'을 대본으로 하여 작곡한 이 오페라는 후기 낭만주의의 색채가 강하게 드러나는 작품으로 평가받고 있다. 여기에 나오는 이 아리아는 베르테르가 고대 켈트족의 시인 오시언(Ossian)의 시집에 있는 슬픈 사랑이야기를 읽으면서 부르는 베르테르의 절망적인 사랑의 고백이다. 이곡은 지금껏 수많은 리릭테너들의 레퍼토리에서 빠져본 적이 없는 유명곡이다. 마스네(Jules Massenet,1842－1912)의 오페라 베르테르 최고의 명아리아 'Pourquoi me reveiller, o souffle du printemps?'
